Jean-Claude Ellena has been making his mark on the landscape of French Haute Parfumerie for over fifty years. To write the new chapters in the history of Le COUVENT, he surrounded himself with simplicity and talent with a team of handpicked French perfumers.
When Jean Claude Ellena talks about perfume, he talks about places that inspire him. Memories, recomposed memory thanks to smells. To compose a perfume is to write a story. A narration that takes the wearer elsewhere. Choosing a perfume is much more than a smell that you like or not. It is an evocation, a story capable of telling who we are or who we would have liked to be.
