All I have to do is say the word “vetiver ” and I ’m immediately told it’s a men’s fragrance, to which the answer is: no! It is a misunderstanding of the world of fragrance that causes a gender to be assigned to a scent. Vetiver is not a wood, but a root, which
in certain cultures is used in love potions.

For VETIVERA, I have added scents of spices and of both the ocean and sea: the sea is feminine, the ocean masculine in many languages.
